Akademos Society board members unanimously approved the society’s financial report for the year ‎2015-16 in our recent general meeting.

The board members took notice of the deficit incurred in the last financial year – owing largely to a 140% increase in the number of scholarships awarded in the year. The board has since taken steps to strengthen our revenue in the current year. This improvement is reflected in our budgeted figures for the financial year 2016-17 released in the most recent newsletter.
