Akademos Scholarship 2017-18 Winners Announced

This year, Akademos Society received 42 applications for the Akademos Scholarship. The applicants provided extensive information about their financial circumstances and past academic performance, including but not limited to transcripts, certificates, and reference letters. 17 candidates were shortlisted and interviewed for a total of seven hours. Their academic performance, extracurricular activities, and financial vulnerabilities were assessed for the grant of the scholarships. 12 applicants have now been selected for the grant of Akademos scholarship for the academic year 2017-2018.

We owe a debt gratitude to Mr Muhammad Mehdi from Ummat Educational & Cultural Organization and Mr Ali Akbar from Hazara Town for their invaluable contribution and dedication towards making this possible. And we thank our supporters, donors, and well-wishers for their encouragement and contribution.

We wish all the best to the candidates whose applications were not successful on this occasion. We congratulate the following applicants on being granted Akademos Scholarship for the year 2017-2018:
