The Najiba-Akademos Computer Lab, the first and only one of its kind in the remote Daikundi province was inaugurated on 10 April 2021 in Nili, Daikundi.
The classes at the computer lab train students in the use of computer programs including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and more. These students are from communities in Daikundi, one of the most remote and impoverished provinces in Afghanistan. The facility will also serve as a learning and information exchange hub for school and university students as well as researchers.
The lab is equipped with twelve computers, internet connection and many other essential tools that will connect students in Daikundi to the outside world and help break the geographic barriers.
